Your unique role with the company:
Reporting to the Director Human Resources, Global Manufacturing and Engineering, you will have two direct reports, an HR Generalist and an admin. Within this facility of 300+ employees and you will You will have dotted line responsibility with the Plant Manager. You will manage all levels of the organization employee relations and HR policies and practices.
Develops and administers human resources policies and practices at the location including recruiting, staffing, compensation planning, performance measurement and management, communications, employer of choice programs, talent development, retention planning, organizational design and action planning.
Collaborating with management, plans, implements, and administers policies and programs to meet human resources requirements supporting short- and long-term business needs.
Designs, develops, and delivers employee training and orientation programs.
Manages the compensation and benefits programs at the location, below the senior management level ensuring fair and equitable administration of organization’s philosophy.
Manages the career management process including recruitment, talent management, staffing strategies, organization design, change management, and succession planning.
Administers the community relations strategy including retiree and volunteer events and attending community functions.

What we are looking for in a Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 7 years of Human Resource experience (with at least 2 of management responsibility).
Ability to coach and manage teams and run a department; experience in leading teams preferred
Experience working in matrix organizations and influencing across culture
Experience leading cross functional projects and establishing and maintaining strong relationships with senior level management
Ability to develop relationships and influence senior level business leaders
Proven experience working independently/autonomously
Strong Change Management skills
Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and to adapt to changing requirements in a fast paced environment.
