Currently seeking Senior FAAS Manager for a great opportunity in the San Francisco, CA area. The ideal candidate will possess 5-8 years’ experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm and hold a CPA.
 
Responsibilities of the Senior FAAS Manager
 
  • Consult with clients on complex accounting issues.
  • Collaborate with Partners, Senior Managers, and clients to influence strategy, balancing risk, and client expectations.
  • Ensure Engagement team thoroughly understands clients’ unique needs, ambitions, and expectations.
  • Build relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service.
  • Manage performance and identify opportunities to improve products and processes.
  • Communicate creative, strategic goals both internally and externally.
  • Listen and understand clients to give them a truly exceptional experience.
 
Requirements of the Senior FAAS Manager
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Master’s in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, etc. preferred), CPA, and 5-8 years’ experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm
  • Candidates must have Illinois CPA or transfer their CPA immediately
  • FS background and technical accounting experience.
  • Preferably have experience FAAS
  • Strong technical writing skills and advanced risk management knowledge.
  • A deep understanding of the marketplace and commonly used terminology, processes, and tools.
  • A proven record of excellence managing, mentoring, and improving high-performing colleagues.
  • Confidence to research and resolve emerging client issues, including regulations, industry practices, and modern technologies.
  • Ability to think on your feet and challenge existing practices to develop answers to complex issues.
  • Ability to build relationships and identify opportunities for clients to benefit from our knowledge
  • Ability to take on new responsibilities, listen to clients, negotiate, and think in unique and creative ways
  • Candidates MUST be willing to travel 80%.
