Position Requirements: 
•    A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Sales / Marketing, is preferred 
•    Experience working for either a college for professional team in the NCAA, NFL, NHL, NBA or MLB-preferably in premium seating sales.
•    A solid understanding of major sports and entertainment events 
•    Ability to work well with others and alone in a fast paced environment 
•    Experience in identifying new prospects and opportunities 
•    Working knowledge of the corporate world in Columbus, Ohio 
•    Must be able to understand and employ a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and connects our client’s products and services with prospects’ needs 
•    Exceptional presentation and written communication skills 
•    Evening and weekend work as required 
•    Experience in working within a CRM system, preferably Salesforce 

Position Summary:  
Corporate sales and development is the main area of focus for our direct client sales.  Within that, we are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic sales individual to build and manage a corporate sales program.  This position will essentially be given full reign to develop, implement and execute a winning sales strategy for our company as well as tailor events for clients that include tickets, travel and hospitality.
The individual is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, sales target list building and research, proposal writing and quoting as well as creating and managing business opportunities and events while securing new corporate clients for our client’s packages and services. We have extensive access to the biggest sporting events in the country with our main operations focusing on central Ohio events.  Reporting directly to the President, this individual will have a thorough knowledge by helping create and sell company’s corporate package offerings, aggressively identify key decision makers in companies and organizations, and sell unique group experiences to major events.  Individual must have the knowledge, foresight and skills set to build a winning corporate sales program from the ground up. 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, develop and maintain prospecting lists, research companies and identify key targets, developing and fostering relationships within the corporate community and being a creative deal closer in a fast paced sales environment.  Attract and retain new corporate sponsorship for various entertainment events held by our client.  In addition to meeting/exceeding sales and revenue goals, the individual will utilize the client’s CRM system (Salesforce.com) and other sales tools to streamline, standardize, and enhance sales operations.  Most importantly, the individual must: 
  
•    Participate in and contribute to the development and execution of our client’s strategic corporate sales plan 
•    Build and develop new business opportunities for the client
•    Provide timely and accurate reporting of sales activities, such as pipeline and deal status updates 
•    Work cross functionally to help create and manage corporate hospitality events.
•    Establish regular phone meetings with clients to aid in retention/satisfaction of packages purchased  
•    Entertain new, prospective and current clients at events to help build new accounts and maintain current ones
•    Develop sales presentations and action plans for potential new clients
