Sales Assistant to VP - Sales

Our client is a dynamic, fast-growing software company whose list of clients includes major global financial institutions and corporations. They are the global leader in Regulatory Reporting, Capital Adequacy, Risk Management, Liquidity, Compliance and Data Management solutions for more than two decades servicing financial institutions worldwide.

With offices across the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific, our client provides technology solutions and professional services as they offer a complete line of engineering tools in the risk management, compliance and financial control areas.


Position will be based in Manhattan (near Wall Street). Hours are 8a-5p with some overtime. Base salary is between $65,000-90,000.  

Prior experience working closely with a sales team is a must

The Pre-Sales Administrator will support the Pre-Sales and Sales’ teams.  He or she will help coordinate travel arrangements, follow up with potential clients, and assist with maintaining sales presentations.  This position will have client visibility and much be professional and communicate well with current and potential clients.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to: 
 
  • Answer phone calls and necessary correspondences.
  • Maintain Pre-Sales and Sales calendars.
  • Help coordinate meetings for the Pre-Sales and Sales teams.
  • Follow up with clients.
  • Help manage travel arrangements.
  • Help maintain spreadsheets, sales presentations, and all other internal sales data.
  • Maintain communications for between the client and Pre-Sales and Sales groups.
  • Work in lockstep with both the Pre-Sales and sales group. 
 
Skills and experience:
 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Self -starter with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a similar role supporting a sales team.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain the confidentiality required of this position.
  • Experience working for a software company or in the financial industry.
  • Extremely detail orientated. 
  • Some Salesforce experience.
