SOFTWARE SALES REP -   ALM built for Salesforce.com - StartUp!!
Location: Can be based anywhere in the Eastern US


We're an innovative software start-up that has been recognized as "One of THE BEST tools for migrating data from Salesforce.com" and named the "#1 ALM Product built for Salesforce.com".  We were also chosen by Salesforce as one of the Top 25 apps they work with!  We are looking for our first sales rep on the east coast who will be selling to a national territory out of a home based office.  

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 4+ years of current full life cycle enterprise software sales experience  (inside or outside)
  • Current experience selling to SW Engineering Management (Director/VP / CTO)
  • Current experience selling enterprise software development tools into Enterprise accounts (1000+ employees)
  • Solid track record of meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual sales goals  (Annual quota $800K)
  • Proven Drive, with a passion to help grow an exciting and innovative Software Company that has already made some pretty big marks in the Software Development World!
  • Start-up experience is a plus!
  • Experience with Salesforce.com (or similar ) application integration and development a plus!
ABOUT THE ROLE 
You will be joining a really innovative and exciting software development tool company, Headquartered out of the San Francisco Bay Area.  Our Application Life Cycle Management ( ALM ) software is proven and we've helped some of the biggest and best software engineering organizations with their development!  We have won awards, and been recognized as a best in breed product.  Some of our key customers and partners include Salesforce.com Oracle, TDBank, Equifax, and 100's more.  A lot of our business has been coming in by word of mouth which is great, but it's now organically time for us to build out our sales organization.  Our software solutions are in the market, they are proven and we have shown we can deliver beyond customer's expectations.  

In this role you will work from a home-based office and drive the sales process, leveraging your experience with the full sales life cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business with new customers and grow exiting opportunities where you can. We are looking for someone who is a true hunter and ideally has experience selling into Software Engineering and Software Development Environments.  

Software being sold: Application Life Cycle Management Software
Average deal: Deals have ranged between $30 - $100K / year  
Annual Quota:  $800-$1M in new revenue.   
Territory:  Entire United States
Selling To:  CTO, VP SW Engineering, SW R&D, Software Directors & Managers at Enterprise Companies of 1000+ employees

COMPENSATION PACKAGE
$60-$75K base/ $150K at quota + uncapped commissions + accelerators + incentives + bonuses  + benefits
