Responsible for Product Management and Development of automatic timing control products. 
 
Duties and responsibilities
 
  • Maintain exceptional working knowledge of Automatic Timing and Control products and related applications
  • Work with sales, customer service and application engineers to recommend best product for application
  • Works with VP sales and strategic customers to recommend product design enhancement and product line extension
  • Work with engineering and VP Sales to ensure product design and function is best in class
  •  Work with production to ensure customer needs are met
  • Work with sales/customers to quote projects and special products
  • Work with VP Sales to review existing pricing structure to ensure we are profitable across all product lines
  • Review pricing structure annually with VP Sales, change as needed
  • Work with VP Sales to review/establish profitable pricing structure for small run special adders
  • Maintain application and product related technical knowledge by working with sales and strategic customers; reviewing competitive product literature/specifications; reviewing industry publications; participating in professional industry organizations
  • Develop and implement product training program for all customer facing employees to increase basic knowledge of products and applications
  • Making recommendations to enhance product design, potential new products and markets
  • Increase knowledge of instrument product line internally
 
 
Requirements
 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
 
 
Job Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of electronic instrumentation and controls products and applications.  Effective verbal and written communication skills.    Ability to use a keyboard and PC proficiently.  Ability to handle multiple priorities.  Very positive and highly energetic.
