Job Description
This nutritional supplement company was established in 2006, and is poised for a strong growth curve.  They are in the process of establishing a larger manufacturing facility in the Brick NJ area and are in need of a Product/Marketing Manager.  Over the past 10 years they have been selling their products via private labeling to the physician & medical marketplace, and are now ready to take their product direct to the consumer (DTC).  The person hired will be a metric focused person who will be responsible for executing the marketing strategies across the healthcare professional business unit.  Responsibilities include:
  • Growing the sales and profitability of the nutritional supplement product line through all channels (direct & wholesale business).
  • Support new sales force efforts. Create, grow brand, and launch product.
  • Develop messaging & position for the brand & products based upon market feedback from key customers.
  • Execution of the marketing plan, including upstream and downstream marketing.
  • Conduct market research and manage KOL development.
  • Be the expert on products, take them to market, and drive the marketing efforts.
  • This position reports directly to the President/CEO of the company.

The person hired will have the following:
  • BS or MBA degree in marketing or a related field with strong analytical skills.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years marketing experience, preferably in the healthcare or consumer products field.
  • Experience in both upstream & downstream marketing.
  • Have a "role up your sleeves" work ethic.
