Job Description:
This is an exciting Human Resources Manager opportunity for a high energy and bright individual who is looking for a good career opportunity. This is a Human Resources Manager position with a strong focus in dealing with all aspects related to benefits, recruiting and HR Administration. This HR Manager must be hands on and be self-reliant. Prefer experience in all aspects of Human Resources Management within smaller manufacturing / assembly companies in the 100-200 employee range.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
  • Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; performs benefits administration, change reporting and annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness
  • Develops staffing strategies and implements programs and plans
  • Oversees company wide onboarding and orientation policies and compliance
  • Manages the company 401(k) program, including the coordination of employee investment committee and direct liaison with 3rd party management company
  • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt workers; writes and places advertisements; works with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; conducts reference checking; extends job offers; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-path program and employee relations counseling; conducts exit interviews
 
Qualifications:
  • BS Degree in Human Resources/Business or related field
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential
  • 8 to 10 years experience of Human Resources responsibilities in manufacturing / assembly related companies within smaller to medium size companies, with strong experience in developing staffing strategies and implements programs
  • Strong experience dealing with all HR aspects related to benefits and recruiting
  • Prefer experience in Human Resources Management within smaller companies in the 100-200 employee range
  • Must have hands on HR experience with positive approach and outgoing attitude
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, business mined and driven
  • Multi state HR Manager experience
  • Open to travel requirements
