Job Description
Contract to permanent position with a global manufacturer. This position offers the potential for solid growth and upward mobility!
Responsibilities of the Human Resource Manager:
  • Implementing and supporting human resource programs for a large employee plant (1000+);
  • Leading programs for building leadership capability, employee relations, and recruiting;,
  • Driving cultural transformation and organizational change;
  • Leading the talent development review process and implementing actions to both train high potential employees and performance manage underperforming employees;
  • Ensuring compliance with all laws for employee practices and policies, salary and wage administration, and required training;
  • Administrating the EEO and diversity plans;
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues on strategic issues and new initiatives;
  • Monitoring and reporting on progress of the projects;
  • Reporting directly to the HR Director.
Education:   4-year degree required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
Required Skills for the Human Resource Manager:
  • 7+ years of related experience in progressively responsible HR roles;
  • Strong skills in Project Management, leadership, people development, employee relations, decision-making and problem-solving;
  • Federal, state and local law compliance;
  • Strong organizational, planning, influencing, and conflict management skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, training and presentation skills;
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
