Job Description
**This position covers the Western US and can be located anywhere in the West as a home-based position with travel.

Do you have a background of successful new business sales to large groups in the health insurance/employee benefit space and looking for a more dynamic place to work?  We are a healthcare/technology company named to the CNBC Disruptor 50 list for the 2nd year in a row.  This new position will focus on sales to self-insured businesses with 2,500-10,000 employees.  
 

What you’ll do…

  • Meet and exceed sales targets by leveraging partnerships with self-insured employers 
  • Develop value propositions around client needs, effectively negotiate financial terms and close sales for products and services
  • Successfully manage your pipeline, forecast and sales strategy using Salesforce.com 
  • Develop strategic prospects to produce revenue through new sales
  • Act as a subject matter expert to increase awareness around the need for fertility benefits coverage, sell into employers and serve their benefits consultants
  • Identify, prospect and build relationships with benefits executives and their consultants
  • Present the value of our solutions to HR and C-level executives to prospective clients 

 

 

Requirements

About you…

 

  • 10+ years of experience selling into mid/large groups in a self-insured marketplace
  • Prior experience selling to the C-Suite within a healthcare environment required
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving and exceed sales goals
  • Excellent planning, forecasting, and negotiation skills with the ability to prioritize diverse projects 
  • Experience working for a health plan, national medical carrier, or vendor providing ancillary benefits to self-insured employers
  • Self-starter with high level direction, with ability to assume accountability to develop own plan and strategy
  • Bachelors degree in business, communication, marketing or related field required
  • Passion, desire and motivation to sell and close new business
  • Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritize responsibilities
