Agriculture – General / Country Manager
Mexico (can live in U.S.)

We’re recruiting a senior General / Sales Manager for a well-funded International Company that is commercializing their crop-monitoring technologies in Mexico.
The individual will manage a team that is selling and supporting major growers with technical solutions that can track customers’ Water Management, Pest Control, Monitor and Predict Yield.
The individual can live in Mexico or the United States but will be required to travel extensively, including some international travel to Europe.
Candidates must have experience selling technology and have worked in agriculture.  They must also be bilingual in Spanish and English.  Only individuals who are thoroughly fluent in English will be considered.  (RESUMES MUST BE IN ENGLISH)
Main Responsibilities:
  • Set up company strategy, managing marketing, sales, and customers support activities to perform according to the company’s overall plans, targets and goals.  
  • Lead company ongoing sales and develop company team.
  • Take care of all the general and legal activities with the authority.
  • Planning and follow-up customers forecast and company budget.
  • Represent company in commercial events, trade shows and conferences.
  • Prepare commercial and finance reports and statements to corporate management.
  • Develop relationships with growers and partners.
  • Expand business and market penetration of company’s crop-monitoring technologies.
Formal requirements:
  • Degree in Agriculture / Business Administration / Marketing.
  • Experience working with and selling solutions to growers.
  • Willingness to travel frequently in Mexico and the U.S, with some international travel.
Best Experience:
  • Experience as country / region sales manager / Business Unit director in an international agribusiness company.
  • Proven record in managing sales to the agricultural sector
  • Worked in an international global company, a plus.
  • Leading teams of Sales, Support, Technology, Product Management, Agronomists....
  • Proven ability to finalize sales deals.
