Seeking Experiences Seniors/New Managers with 3-7 years’ experience.
Hiring 6 people.
Candidates out of Top 10 CPA firms.
Mainly deal with Technology and Life Sciences clients. Company works with some of the largest Tech companies in San Francisco (helped with LinkedIn IPO).
Minimum Education & Experience
BA/BBA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field and CPA required; CFA, CIA, CISA, or CISSP preferred.
Prior public experience required, prior industry experience is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite.
Excellent problem-solving skills and delivery of company methodology on engagements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, business-like demeanor.
Extensive knowledge of US GAAP (revenue recognition, equity accounting, consolidations and financial reporting) required; knowledge of IFRS standards preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities
Work directly with clients on technical accounting issues, SEC reporting, and other accounting projects.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with client personnel of various levels.
Exercise professional judgement on engagements by providing proactive solutions and recommendations.
Build and broaden industry knowledge to support organization and functional initiatives by taking advantage of training programs and participating in relevant teams.
Provide recommendations for improved and enhanced accounting and business efficiency to clients.
Demonstrate leadership and provide guidance to other engagement team members.
Manage project engagements including adherence to deadlines and client expectations.
Be responsible for day-to-day components of engagements and manage lower level staff.
Lead/contribute to engagement planning and ensure high quality of related products/deliverables.
Generate written components of various reports/deliverables related to engagements.
Research technical accounting topics as it pertains to the engagement.
Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel.
Demonstrate a deep knowledge of client’s business and identify high-risk accounting areas.
Deliver services that meet company’s standards of excellence.
Recognize and communicate opportunities to sell “add-on” work to client.
