Two Account Consultants roles are open: the Greenville Territory and the Columbia Territory.

The Account Consultant will scour the market and reach into the deep crevasses of their professional network to build tremendous relationships with premier industrial, technology and healthcare companies.   Your function will be constantly researching and working on alternate avenues to have face-to-face meetings with C-level individuals, giving compelling collateral revolving around ROI, which is mitigating risks associated with mechanical failures throughout the year such as mechanical infrastructure, HVAC equipment and more. 

You will collaborate with internal rock-star Technicians and Projects Managers to game-plan redesigns, outfitting or updating existing buildings. Your goal will be more than just becoming a transaction – you will forge lifelong relationships for the betterment of your professional career as well as the company’s future output.

  • Develop a broad knowledge and technical understanding of products and services available.
  • Work with a team of Technicians and Project Managers to appraise and survey mechanical systems to determine repairs needed and make recommendations.
  • Analyze and audit facilities for energy inefficiencies and recommend solutions.  
  • Territory management and prospecting for new business in the Greenville, SC, market and the Columbia, SC, market (an hour radius of each) – healthcare, technology, industrial and financial markets as well as expansion of existing accounts where applicable.
  • Research prospects, set daily schedule, daily goals, establish follow up and document appropriately.
  • Spend 75% of your time in the field prospecting and working with new or existing customers.
  • Take a marathon approach: sales cycles might be 60-90 days. Be fearless and go from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.
  • Quotes and negotiates pricing and delivery of services.
  • The ability to open doors and offer financial solutions to executive-level prospects.
  • High-levels of motivation, self-discipline, resiliency and personal accountability.
  • A proven resume of increasing responsibility.
  • Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales with heavy emphasis on prospecting and cold calling.
  • Constant enthusiasm each day because sales is not a sprint – it is a marathon.
  • Leading by example in the trenches and proven ability to develop a perpetual pipeline of qualified sales opportunities, tracking those opportunities using a CRM, Outlook, Google and more.
  • Must be a “closer” who has a history of continuous account acquisition, retention, knocking down doors and telephone sales.
  • Willingness to travel within roughly a one hour radius of Greenville, SC.
  • College degree and must have basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Self starter with exceptional attention to detail.
